Series 1 (1992)

Wealthy international public relations maven Edina Monsoon awakes hungover with one day to put together a major fashion show... as so begins Absolutely Fabulous.

Series 2 (1994)

Now on BBC One, a second series followed in 1994. Edina's father dies, whilst her ex-husbands have cut off her alimony payments. Meanwhile Patsy accidentally burns down the kitchen.

Series 3 (1995)

Eddy's become bogged down in the detail whilst renovating the kitchen after Patsy's fire at the start of the third series...

The Last Shout (1996)

The show came to an end in 1996 with a two-part series finale in which the irrepressible duo plan a jet-set skiing holiday.

Series 4 (2001)

The sitcom was revived in 2001, and Series 4 involved more drink, drugs and adventure for the duo.

Gay (2002)

A one-off special for 2002 in which Eddy and Patsy go to the Big Apple for New York fashion week.

Series 5 (2003)

An eight-part fifth series arrived in 2003, and Edina is soon horrified at the news that Saffron is pregnant... which will result in a 'Grandmother' label for herself.

White Box (2004 - 2005)

A Christmas Day special in 2004 saw Saffron preparing to leave for Africa. A short Comic Relief Special followed the next year too.

2011 Christmas Specials (2011 - 2012)

After a break of a number of years, the whole gang were back for two new episodes for the 2011 festive period, on Christmas Day and New Year's Day 2012. Edina had some crucial questions to answer, including: 'Has she still got it?'

Olympics Special (2012)

A short Short Relief special was broadcast in March 2012, followed in July by an episode themed around the London Olympics (filmed at the same time as the 2011 specials).
