Chortle, 7th April 20222point4 Children (BBC1) is a six part series by Andrew Marshall, half of the Hot Metal scriptwriting team. You hope nervously he is the right half. It has that slightly surreal edge. The 4ft 6ins suitor in the singles bar. The headmaster in the full bottomed wig. Belinda Lang's ability to go out with one bag of rubbish and return with three. The biker who continually crashes at her feet. Encouragingly certifiable.
