Amy Gray is a writer and radio presenter based in Cambridgeshire. She loves family-based comedies and dramas, so this is what she writes, and in the last year has focused on writing sitcoms. Amy hosts and produces a weekly radio show playing 90s and early 2000s music and wanted to celebrate the totally brilliant and not at all cringe Y2K era with her Sitcom Mission entry about teen metalheads. Amy trained in journalism with the Press Association and is a former news reporter for the Eastern Daily Press (highlight - a mince pie with its own passport). She has a degree in Creative Writing from Norwich University of the Arts and has been writing stories ever since she could write. After a decade working at a software consultancy she moved to a more flexible role to dedicate more time to screenwriting, and her first script reached the second round of BBC Writersroom. She watches too much football and is launching a radio programme and podcast about women's and grassroots sports in the autumn.
