Online comedy star Arron Crascall is to publish a book.

The comedian, who rose to fame in 2014 by posting Vine comedy sketches on Facebook, now has over 4 million followers on Facebook, with a million more on other platforms. His most popular videos have now been viewed over 30 million times.

His trademark sketches see him walking up to strangers, imparting a piece of 'wisdom', before marching off whilst exclaiming "See ya later".

Crascall was recently picked up by BBC Three to make a sketch series, with the resultant See Ya Later - Arron Crascall currently being published on Thursdays. Here is Episode 1:

His new book will be titled See Ya Later: My Story. Publishers Trapeze say: "See Ya Later will follow the same format as Arron's favourite TV show, The Wonder Years, where Old Arron (full of See Ya Later wisdom) meets Young 13-year-old Arron, as he embarks on a journey of discovering what truly makes him happy.

"As he revisits some of the key moments in his life, Arron will give his young self some words of wisdom on how to navigate the big issue of being a contented and fulfilled grown-up. Using a mixture of autobiographical narrative, diaries to his 13-year-old self, love letters, early letters to Santa and a collection of his favourite playlists and TV shows, See Ya Later will be as riotous, unique and hilarious as the man himself."

Arron Crascall says: "Having my own book is an incredible feeling. It seems like yesterday I was working in a bookies in Dover and now two years on my life has changed in so many ways. I'm ecstatic to be working with Trapeze and when we first met with Anna there was an instant chemistry. I'm beyond excited and can't wait for all my following, family and friends to read See Ya Later."

Publisher Anna Valentine adds: "When I first met Arron, I had to prise him away from the reception and security staff who were all clamouring to take selfies with him. That marked the start of one of the most memorable and exciting meetings I've had, and I knew that day I had to publish Arron's book. I've been a huge fan for many years, and think he's one of the most exciting comedians of today. The fact he's built up such an amazing social media platform is testament to his inimitable and loveable brand of comedy."

The new book will be published on the 21st September 2017. It is already available to pre-order.
