The Midnight Beast, the comic band who have starred in two series of their own E4 sitcom, are releasing a new music album.

Shtick Heads, the follow up of their top 10-charting 2012 debut, will feature 16 tracks, including some of those heard on The Midnight Beast TV series.

Featuring appearances by Sway and Reggie Watts, the album includes Beast Song Ever, The Main One, When I'm Older, Plenty More Fish, Balls So Hard, Sextape, Love Bites and more.

The band say: "We've been hard at work in our laboratory carefully crafting the most outrageous musical comedy cocktails set to blow up in some faces... Are we excited? Yes. Will we be getting back old friends? Yes. Will we be putting our dicks in socks again? Probably not... That's so 2012. Will we be releasing a brand new album that we'll be shamelessly plugging from this day forth? Well of course we will. Round two, DING, DING, DING."

Shtick Heads will be released next Monday, 2nd June, and is now available to pre-order

The Midnight Beast - aka Stefan Abingdon, Dru Wakely and Ashley Horne - will be appearing at two branches of HMV to meet fans and sign copies of the new album.

They'll be at HMV Manchester on Sunday 1st June 2014 from 3pm to sign copies. Fans gain access to the Manchester event by obtaining a wristband when they pre-order the album from the store.

Then the trio will be in London on Tuesday 3rd June 2014, at HMV's flagship 363 Oxford Street branch, from 6pm. The group will perform live and sign albums. The London event is strictly limited to 200 fans due to venue restrictions. HMV explain: "Fans must obtain wristbands with purchase of the album from Monday 2nd June."

The Midnight Beast recently released a new music video - a spoof of One Direction's You & I:
