Images from the '50 Comics' picture book
We recently picked up as copy of 50 Comics, a book featuring photographs of, yes - you guessed it - 50 comedians.
It's a stunning collection of images, all of which have been taken by top portrait photographer and long-time comedy fan Matt Crockett.
Comedy stars who have taken part in exclusive photoshoots for the book include Stephen Fry, Rowan Atkinson, Ben Miller, Jimmy Carr, Matt Lucas, Nina Conti, Sean Lock, Tim Key, Jack Whitehall and Tim Vine.
Notable photographs in the collection include Robert Webb, who poses cowering under a desk, naked for some reason (it was his idea apparently); and the three on-screen members of The League Of Gentlemen - Reece Shearsmith, Steve Pemberton and Mark Gatiss - in interesting poses.
