A vicious stray dog forces the Carrs to have some unexpected quality time together, but the front room starts to resemble a pressure cooker with Nige, Ange and Nanna Joyce trapped in the house with them too. A little white lie of Alan's causes confrontations and frustrations, and he soon realises that honesty is not always the best policy when it comes to family affairs.
