The Train Now Standing

Series 2, Episode 6 - The Slings And Arrows

When it comes to treating a man who has tripped and hurt his leg, the men of Burberry Halt run First Aid a distant second. Their immediate efforts to help the hardly-walking but distinctly wounded Mr. Bottomley include such inventive treatment as using the station broom as a splint - a technique which brings horror to the faces of the ambulance men. So Hedley decides to cure the station's First Aid ills once and for all by entering Pringle in a First Aid competition.
