Warren

Manager of Waft Tourist Information Centre.   Played by: Jeff Rawle

Warren is the manager of the Tourist Information Centre in Waft. He is sick to death of people visiting the tourist centre just to use the toilet. His hatred has lead him to take a zero-tolerance approach with his new leaflet: "Enjoy the fascinating local area, or just sod off".

Douglas Waft

Aristocrat.   Played by: Malcolm Tierney

Douglas is a local aristocrat who is desperate to bring more tourists to Waft by any means possible. He often creates tourist attractions connected with famous people who have never actually set foot in Waft. Examples include the Sylvia Plath Guesthouse and the Beatrix Potter Tearooms And Grill.

Bryan

Odd-job man.   Played by: Paul Barnhill

Bryan is a local-odd job man who spends most of his days searching for mythical creatures on Waft's moors. He is also often found in the local Tourist Information Centre, either sleeping, or eating his road-kill sandwiches. He is sexually attracted to Warren's wife Heather.

Heather

AKA: Heather Lightfoot (name before marriage).  Museum owner.   Played by: Liza Sadovy

Heather is Warren's wife. While she tries to help her husband improve Waft's tourism, she is less enthusiastic about the task than Warren. Their marriage appears to be an unhappy one, with Heather constantly going out of town to get her hair done or have plastic surgery.

Lucy

Assistant at Waft Tourist Information Centre.   Played by: Joannah Tincey

Lucy is Warren's newly qualified assistant at the Tourist Office. She has lots of qualifications, but the strain of city life and her boyfriend leaving her resulted in a mini-breakdown and her move to Waft in search of some peace and quiet.
