Pilot - An Open Letter To Richard Branson

A radio recording of Tom Wrigglesworth's Edinburgh Comedy Award nominated stand-up routine about a rude and unhelpful train guard.

Further details

Tom Wrigglesworth recounts his engaging tale of taking on the jobsworths, in An Open Letter To Richard Branson. Having witnessed a Virgin train manager abusing his position of authority, Tom stood up for a little old lady and took on "the man".

In this BBC Radio 4 comedy, he not only describes his confrontation with the hilariously vile train manager, but also finds time to mull over other important issues such as train spotters, big beige granny bags and the length of time it takes to eat a pistachio nut.

It's a show about being proud and sticking up for what is right. Wrigglesworth was nominated for the 2009 Edinburgh Comedy Award (formerly the Perrier) for the stage version of this routine.
