Meena is a not-very-observant Muslim in comedy drama 'Til Jihad Do Us Part. She enjoys bacon butties, gets a little tipsy from time to time and has had her fair share of boyfriends. But she's nearly 30 and feeling the pressure to settle down.
With her mother demanding grandchildren and her younger sister's wedding looming, Meena decides it's time to tone down the partying and a find a good, steady man. Enter Sarwar, charming, mysterious, sophisticated and newly arrived from Kashmir.
Falling for him, she decides he might as well be the one. Theirs is a whirlwind engagement and they appear to be an unlikely match, but real surprises are in store when Meena begins to suspect that her new fiancé may be a terrorist.
Sarwar is certainly hiding some crucial information about his past - but not quite in the way that Meena imagines. He is using Meena for the sole purpose of gaining a visa but, in spite of his best efforts, he is beginning to fall in love with her.
