Salty tales written by Lynne Truss which reveal the truth about life between the tides for the residents of the rocky shore.
We hear from a roving joke-loving Periwinkle, a house-proud Hermit Crab, a figure-conscious Sea Anemone, a fast-talkin' Goby Fish, a poetic love-struck Limpet, and a diligent Lugworm.
Six 15 minute episodes were originally broadcast in 1997, created for the Natural History Unit.
In 2012, new recordings were made in front of a live audience at the More Than Words festival in Bristol, with the stories now paired up to form half hour episodes.
In 2014 a follow-up series called Gossip From The Garden Pond was broadcast.
