David Mitchell is joined by Miles Jupp, Marcus Brigstocke, Holly Walsh and Lou Sanders, who are obliged to talk with deliberate inaccuracy on subjects as varied as milk, sound, Italians and parties.

The Truths

Miles Jupp - Milk

* Benny Hill used to work as a milkman. Found by Lou.

* Henry Ford hated cows after having to work on his father's farm, leading him to propose alternative forms of milk such as soya milk. [note[Found by Lou.[/note]

* Giving cows false teeth helps them to produce more milk, as it allows them to crew food in an older age. [note[Successfully smuggled.[/note]

* You can only milk a moose in absolute silence. Moose cheese can be worth $1,000 per kilo. Successfully smuggled.

* French infants were once suckled on donkey's teats. Successfully smuggled.

Holly Walsh - Italians

* In the 1860s, only 2.5% of Italians spoke Italian. When Italy unified in 1861, the new government chose the Florentine dialect of Tuscany as the official language for all Italy, and became the basis of modern Italian. Found by Miles.[/note[

* The biggest business in Italy is being in the mafia. The mafia turns over around €140 billion per year, and 7% of Italy's GDP, more than any company in the country. [note]Found by Lou.

* In parts of Northern Italy, wheels of parmesan are accepted as security on bank loans. Found by Marcus.

* Italy hosts the annual World Hide-and-Seek Championships, in the abandoned town of Consonno, near Milan. Found by Lou.

* In the 1900s, Italians drove on the right in the countryside and on the left in the cities. It wasn't until 1923 when everyone drove on the right. Found by Marcus.

Lou Sanders - Parties

* In Ireland, you can rent out an old Popemobile for stag and hen parties. Found by Marcus.

* In the USA, 70 students drank so much at a house party than when the police arrived the air tested positive on a breathalyser. Found by Holly.

* Stephen Hawking once hosted a party for time travellers where no-one turned up. Invitations for the part were only sent out the day after the party took place. He considered the event: "Experimental evidence that time travel is not possible." Successfully smuggled.

* Bear Grylls is scared of cocktail parties. Successfully smuggled.

* The French play a party game called "Hunt The Tampon", which in Britain is known as "Hunt The Thimble". Successfully smuggled.

Marcus Brigstocke - Sound

* The collective noise made by shrimps and prawns is so loud they can deafen submarine sonar operators. Found by Holly.

* Liverpudlian dogs have scouse accents. Found by Miles.

* Elephants that lived near Heathrow in the former Windsor Safari Park (now Legoland) were given earmuffs to protect them from the noise of aircraft. Found by Lou.

* Tarzan's trademark called was palindromic. Successfully smuggled.

* Moths wiggle their genitals to evade capture from bats. Successfully smuggled.
