Steve Punt and Hugh Dennis present a mix of stand-up, sketches and songs in this popular topical comedy show for Radio 4. Also features Jon Culshaw, Marcus Brigstocke, Jon Holmes, Mitch Benn, David Quantick and more.

11 episodes and a Christmas special followed towards the end of 1999.

A series of 6 further episodes followed in the second quarter of 2003.
Another series, of 5 episodes, followed in the second half of 2003. Emma Kennedy left the cast and was replaced with Laura Shavin.

The show returned for a 19th series in the summer of 2006. 6 episodes were broadcast, including 2 recorded at the Edinburgh Fringe. Marcus Brigstocke was away for this series.
A series of 7 episodes, including a Christmas special and a highlights special, followed towards the end of 2006.
Towards the end of 2007 there was a new series of 6 episodes, including a highlights special looking back at the year.

Here is our guide to the spring 2009 series of The Now Show. Due to prior commitments, Hugh Dennis missed some of the episodes this series - and thus Jon Culshaw stepped in as a guest presenter on these episodes. Additionally, Marcus Brigstocke could only make a few episodes in the run due to other filming commitments and so many of the episodes featured a guest stand-up slot.
