The mock road show, penned by Lee and Herring, toured various university cities on the quest to make Radio 4 seem as 'cool' and 'amazing' as Radio 1. Neil Mullarkey, Nick Hancock and Tony Hawks try and find out as much about the local area as possible - through going out on the streets and making members of the public do stupid things and reading out various idiosyncratic news stories. They also try and tackle the 'issues that matter'. Between this, they hold both counselling and competitions for the audience members and have a number of comedians pop in.
