The sisters get to grips with clearing their father's radio ham equipment, but Lesley switches it on and, out of the static, a voice is heard saying, 'I wouldn't trust that fella as far as I could throw him!" - one of Dad's catchphrases. Later, Maureen tries to get rid of David by inventing an old friend who is going to buy the house.
