Episode 1

Following three vicars in their everyday lives working in parishes in the north east of England, investigative journalist Lucy Cooper is on a mission to find out, over the course of a year, what keeps them working for the man upstairs (God). Lucy talks to Rev. Bill Tinsey from Consett, after winning from the North East Vicar of the Year competition; gay vicar Rev. Wilson Penn from St. Cuthbert's in Jarrow; and Rev. Richard Crisp, a vicar from Kensington who is moving to his new parish in Sunderland West.
