Episode 1 - Loyal SupportGeorge Mainwaring has returned to England, having been working in Switzerland. He is shocked to learn that Frambourne is demolishing the local pier. Mainwaring goes to the bank to get a loan so that he can buy the pier, and is startled to discover the bank manager is his former employee, Arthur Wilson.
