Radio 4 has ordered a series of word-based panel show Unspeakable.
Hosted by Phil Wang and 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown lexicographer and etymologist Susie Dent, the show invites guests to think up new words that describe universal, shared concepts and experiences which have always lacked names.
Airing later this year, the series follows a successful pilot which aired in February, featuring Stephen Fry, Maisie Adam and Laura Smyth as guests.
Unspeakable was created by Joe Varley (Britain Today Tonight), who produces through his company Brown Bred Productions, alongside Akash Lockmun and Jon Harvey, the alter-ego of political candidate Count Binface.
Episodes are recording in front of a live audience in August and September at the Backyard Comedy Club in London, with free tickets available via SRO Audiences
The pilot is still available on BBC Sounds.
