Rachel Parris is piloting a spoof news show for Radio 4.
The Late Night Mash star hosts The Newsmakers, in which she delivers her views on the week's news stories and then talks to those at the centre of them, from journalists and MPs to yacht-attacking orcas, all of whom are played by comedians.
Recording later this month, the pilot episode features Rosie Holt, Michael Spicer, Bilal Zafar, Emily Lloyd Saini and Sam Pamphilon.
Parris has become an established Radio 4 act, with regular recent appearances on I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue, Just A Minute and The Now Show.
The Newsmakers is recording on 27th July at The Cockpit Theatre in London, with free tickets available via SRO Audiences.
Meanwhile, Rachel Parris: Work In Progress is taking place at the Edinburgh Fringe next month, with the musical comic appearing at the Pleasance Courtyard from 9th-13th August.
