Radio 4 has recommissioned Robin Ince's Reality Tunnel for a second series.
The comedy, which launched in July 2022, is described as "a series about taking reality seriously, but not literally", and attempts to answer questions like "Why do we believe what we believe? How do we put together our picture of the world?"
The first series was met with positive audience feedback and went on to be shortlisted in the BBC Audio Awards, the Chortle Awards and Radio Academy's ARIAS.
Two episodes will be recorded in Manchester (Z-arts venue) on Saturday 3rd June. Tickets
The BBC says: "Be in the audience for this recording where Robin will be performing material to feature in the second series of his acclaimed BBC Radio 4 series Robin Ince's Reality Tunnel. This time he'll be exploring love, loss, art and imagination."
Speaking more generally about the Infinite Monkey Cage co-host, they say: "Robin Ince is many things. A comedian, an author, a broadcaster, and a populariser of scientific ideas. The Guardian once declared him a 'becardiganed polymath', which seems about right."
Series 2 of Robin Ince's Reality Tunnel will be on air later this year. The first series is available on BBC Sounds
