Radio 4 is to broadcast never-heard-before material from Victoria Wood.
New two part series Victoria Wood: From Soup To Nuts will feature stand-up and songs from the comedian's own archives and tapes, including some that have not been heard in public before.
Radio 4 says: "With unprecedented access to Victoria Wood's own boxes of battered cassette tapes, this show is a shameless chance to hear some wonderful stand-up comedy, characters and songs, looking back at what made her so funny and so universally loved."
The episodes have been produced by David Tyler from production outfit Pozzitive. Before the comedian's death in April 2016, Pozzitive had worked with her on multiple other projects, including her TV shows and stand-up DVD Victoria Wood Still Standing.
Presented by Rebecca Front, Victoria Wood: From Soup To Nuts will start on Radio 4 on Friday 18th May at 11:30am. The 19th May is Wood's birthday.
