Radio 2 is making a sitcom about a working class couple who become unwilling guardians to their estranged grandchildren.
Just Grand is labelled by the BBC as "a family sitcom about a clash of generations and cultures."
The plot is described as follows: "Sandra and Frank are a working class Northern couple who dream of escaping Stockport for a new life in Fuengirola. Just Grand has been created by Phil Mealey, the co-writer of sitcoms including Early Doors; and Not Going Out's co-writer Daniel Peak.
