Harry Hill to star in Radio 4 prison sitcom

Harry Hill is to star in a new Radio 4 sitcom.
He will play a prison governor in Life On Egg, a comedy about Britain's remotest prison, known as 'The Egg'.
The BBC say: "Follow his adventures as he battles escapes, ‎inspectors and spooky goings on."
Life On Egg has been created by Dan Maier, who has written on many of Hill's other shows, including his current Sky 1 series Harry Hill's Tea Time, and The Harry Hill Movie.
Maier is known as a gag writer, and also regularly collaborates with Charlie Brooker, working on scripts such as A Touch Of Cloth and Charlie Brooker's Year Wipe.
Two episodes of Life On Egg have been commissioined. Radio 4 is due to record them in front of a live audience at the BBC Radio Theatre on December 15th (tckets).
Life On Egg is one of a number of new shows Hill is working on. As recently reported, he is also developing Spoot!, a show which revolves around Hill rediscovering "Britain's oldest sport".
Life On Egg will be on Radio 4 in 2017.
