The news that Jon Richardson was to become curator for the third gallery was announced by Dan Schreiber on Richardson's Wikipedia page. Schreiber announced a competition to see who could find out who the curator was by finding the edit he made.

Each of the exhibits is housed in their own room in the museum, according to the show's sleeve notes. One room, No. 9, actually houses two exhibits according to the notes: "Nothingness" and "Inventions Being Used For Things They Were Not Desgined For".

Reportedly fans of The Archers hate The Museum of Curiosity, which is on just before the long-running soap opera starts. This is because they catch the last five minutes of the show and they are normally talking about something rude. Before one episode in which they were talking about public lice, one Archers fan tweet that this was disgusting to talk about and the show should be axed. Someone was replied to this saying: "I agree, #TheArchers is terrible."
