Dr. Janina Ramirez, art historian, and author of The Private Lives of the Saints which exams the lives of the early Anglo-Saxon saints, offers Hildegard of Bingen, a 12th century nun and polymath with an in-depth knowledge of just about every subject at the time.
Dr. Peter Frankopan, an expert on the Byzantine Empire, has represented Croatia in cricket, and who has written about the benefits of the Black Death, donates a retro 1970s spice rack, partly because of the importances of spices in British history, even if we don't know exactly use them.
Jenny Colgan, journalist and author, writing romance stories, children's books and sci-fi stories including Doctor Who, gives the Museum Narnia red, a particular shade of red which Jenny accidentally made up.
