Further details
Susie Dent, lexicographer, resident of Countdown's "Dictionary Corner" and it's comedy spin-off 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, brings to the Museum a fly that was on the wall at a meeting between Francis Grose, author of A Classical Dictionary of the Vulgar Tongue, and Dr. Samuel Johnson, the creator of the most famous dictionary. It is not know if the two ever met however.
Mike Shanahan, an expert on rainforests, illustrator, the author of a crowdfunded book on fig trees, and has tackled all kinds of illegal treatment of animals, offers up some wild fig trees. These trees have outlived the dinosaurs and each depends on their own special insects to survive.
Ross Noble, surreal Geordie comedian, star of Freewheeling, and who used to ride a unicycle to school, provides the game of rarajipari. While healing a swollen ankle he went around barefoot, he learned about a tribe called the Tarahumara in Mexico, who play this game with a wooden ball where they kick it for long distances.
