Janey Godley, stand-up comic, actor, columnist, broadcaster, blogger, playwright, and ex-pub landlady - a job which is excellent for preparing to deal with hecklers, donates to the Museum some random dogs that wondered the streets in the 1970s, because it is not something you see any more. You just got your dog from the street rather than a kennel.
Prof. Milton Wainwright, a former caterpillar expert who later went on to controversially suggest that microscopic alien lifeforms are constantly raining down on us from space, offers up a shoebox made out of heavy plastic that is used to sample bacteria in the stratosphere. The box contains a CD draw that collects the bacteria, and Wainwright claims that this proves alien lifeforms come from outer space.
Corey Taylor, the front-man of metal bands Slipknot and Stone Sour, Doctor Who guest-star, and author of You're Making Me Hate You: A Cantankerous Look at the Common Misconception That Humans Have Any Common Sense Left, provides a deep-fried wing. In this wing, everything is deep-fried. In his home state of Idaho, Corey used to ate among other things deep-fried butter.
