Gallery 5, Episode 6 - Meeting Thirty

John Lloyd and Jimmy Carr prepare for the final meeting of Gallery 5, with donations from inventor of the Ig Nobel Prize Marc Abrahams, comedian Sara Pascoe, and Buzz Aldrin, the second man on the Moon.

Further details

Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the Moon, offers the museum the Aldrin Mars Cycler, a form of spacecraft that could take us to the fourth planet and help build a settlement on Mars.

The stand-up comedian Sara Pascoe, who got into stand-up for "revenge" purposes because he ex-boyfriend did it, gives us something that we can paradoxically help us: friendly poisons, used in things such as cosmetics.

Marc Abrahams, the inventor of the Ig Nobel Prize for scientists who do rather odd forms of serious research, gives to the museum the odd concept of the annoyance of Professor John Trinkaus. His research includes a study of how people wear baseball caps.
