The screenwriter Frank Cottrell Boyce, wrote the film 24 Hour Party People and helped to create the London 2012 Olympics opening ceremony, goes all religious with his donation, which is the Psalter (book of psalms) belonging on St Columba, who held convert much of Scotland to Christianity.
The anatomist Dr. Alice Roberts, an expert in human skeletons and co-host of Prehistoric Autospy, offers the museum a common relation to all of us, namely a child of a human and a neanderthal.
Andy Nyman, actor, star of Campus and close friend of Derren Brown donates to the museum with a surprising cinema innovation in the form of Friday the 13th Part III 3-D, and explains how 3-D always comes across when cinema is in crisis.
