Further details
James Wong, an ethnobotanist (the study of plants in a particular region and who people in that region use them) and youngest ever medal winner at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, donates a terrarium, which many people think looks nice, but was created to transport plants around the world. It is thanks to these that tea was smuggled out of China and spread around the globe.
Sarah Kendall, storyteller, comedian, and star of comedies Clare in the Community, the Australian Trilogy and Frayed, gives the Museum a ship in a bottle. This is because with the end of really great works, it should feel like pulling a thread to get the sails up on the boat.
Bioscience entrepreneur Sir Chris Evans, a man with 15 letters after his name who has turned many World War One letters into a song for his cancer charity, provides a cabbage, because 30 years ago he helped to develop a way of saving the lifes of prematurely-born babies using enzymes from a cabbage.
