Professor of Ignorance John Lloyd and his curator Lee Mack welcome comedian Athena Kugblenu; writer and podcaster Dolly Alderton; and artificial intelligence expert Sir Nigel Shadbolt.

Further details

Dolly Alderton, a writer and journalist, the author of Everything I Know About Love which includes recipes such as "Apple Pie with Can't Be Arsed Ice Cream", and host of current affairs podcast The High Low, offers up the world's worst wedding list. The list includes overpriced items for the house (e.g. a £300 tray depicting a painted hedgehog in a top hat) and an option to sponsor the Honeymoon.

Sir Nigel Shadbolt, an expert in artificial intelligence, principle of Jesus College Oxford, author of The Spy in the Coffee Machine: The End of Privacy as We Know It (in 2004), donates Deep Blue, the supercomputer that defeated Garry Kasparov. Kasparov said that he could feel a new type of intelligence across the table.

Athena Kugblenu, a comedian, co-host of The Guilty Feminist, and who has recently done a comedy show about the issue of leadership, brings a tin of corned beef. She does so because although she doesn't eat meat, if she did it would be the first meat that she would eat because of her Ghanaian heritage. Corned beef contains no corn.
