Chris McCausland, stand-up comedian, panel show regular, and who once applied to work for MI5 despite going blind, donates to the museum a vinyl record. Despite loving modern technology, he likes proper records and having to listen to music in a particular way.
Bill Liao, a Chinese-Australian environmentalist, author, social media pioneer and businessman who once stopped flying until he and his company planted 100 million trees, offers Drosophila melanogaster, aka the common fruit fly, which has been used in experiments to help in cancer research.
Miriam Margolyes, an actress, documentary maker, and author who admits to hating comedy, provides Charles Dickens and his works. Dickens liked to act in front of the mirror in between writing his books.
