Living With Mother

Apparently you're only allowed to live in your beach chalet for the summer months but Pip and Tilly (Alison Steadman and Tom Goodman-Hill) are broke and decide to stay in their Chalet, Sandy Belle, over winter.

It's all Tilly's idea. A family member died and left them a chalet so she decides they should stay in it all year round and save money on renting in town.

Pip is beside himself with worry. He's seen a security man with a clipboard hanging around the place and he's terrified the police will catch them so they're going to have to wander around in the dark and hide old Pru - his beloved car - in the sand dunes. He's so miserable: hiding away as if they're criminals, sand everywhere and they haven't even got any proper heating. He worries and moans so much that Tilly loses her temper and throws him out.

However, he soon discovers that all is not lost. Tilly informs him that someone has called for him, and to his surprise, it wasn't the police or the security man...
