Living With Mother

Marlon (Mark Gatiss) is going to enter Britain's Got Talent but his amateur Bontempist mother Helen (Susan Jameson) is against it for good reason.

Marlon is possibly the worst singer since Wagner or Jedward graced the stage but he's not going to back down on this one and he convinces his mother to accompany him on the Bontempi. Poor Helen is in a quandary and feels she should tell her son that he just can't sing but his dogged determination sees that he ignores any advice given.

To everyone's surprise, Marlon gets through the first round. Helen has her suspicions; he's clearly one of those acts they put through at which the public are encouraged to laugh.

Will Helen have the courage to tell her son the truth and put a stop to her son experiencing any further humiliation or will she get a taste of fame herself?
