Kevin Bishop plays radio show host Les Kelly, who aims to draw attention to some of the unsung heroes who make Britain great. Les Kelly is a soundbite in human form. His desire to see Britain full of normal, decent people is matched by his ignorance.
Les is opinionated, sincere and stupid. The guests - who are mostly mad, bad or tragic - have in the past included a campanologist who plays Away In A Manger with only one bell, a man campaigning for guide dogs for sighted people and a lollipop lady with OCD.
