Double act Steve Punt and Hugh Dennis, along with several other comedians including Mitch Benn, Sue Perkins and Toby Longworth examine the newspapers and websites from around the world to find people who had even worse week's than you.
Each week, the panel present a selection of news stories of people who had suffered bad luck that week, each of which is judged by the show's sound effects man "Van Man" ("illegally parked outside Ronnie Scott's") as to which has suffered the worst. Out of these, the studio audience "vote" for which one of these finalists will have suffered the worst week in world and will be presented with "The Worst Week of the Week Award, Awarded Weekly, on a Week-By-Week Basis".
