A series of 10 episodes was broadcast the following year, with Christmas specials at the end of 1979 and 1980.
Series 20 (1992)
Six more episodes, as well as a two-part highlights special, followed in 1992.

Humphrey Lyttelton presents the popular antidote to panel games, now in its 25th year.
Series 42 (2003)
The 42nd series features performances in Winchester, Eastbourne and Leeds. Plus, there was a Christmas special, with the team's own take on Charles Dickens's A Christmas Carol.

Series 51 (2009)
Here is a guide to the 51st series of I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue, which arrived on our airwaves following a year off due to the death of the show's former chairman, the much-loved Humphrey Lyttelton. Deputising in the role of chairman was Stephen Fry, Jack Dee and Rob Brydon, from recordings at Her Majesty's Theatre, Haymarket; the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton; and the Theatre Royal in Newcastle respectively.
Series 52 (2009)
Jack Dee takes over as the new chairman of the show, taking part in recordings at the Old Vic Theatre in London, Chichester Festival Theatre and the Futurist Theatre in Scarborough. Joining regular panellists Tim Brooke-Taylor, Barry Cryer and Graeme Garden at the three recordings are Rob Brydon, David Mitchell and Jo Brand respectively. In the case of David and Jo, it is their first time on the show.
Series 72 (2019)
The winter series of 2019 features recordings in Shrewsbury, Portsmouth and Richmond.
Series 73 (2020)
Series 73 was originally going to be recorded in Reading, Malvern and Huddersfield, but the panel only made it to the latter town, as the COVID-19 lockdown kicked in. The Huddersfield performances were also the last shows made with Tim Brooke-Taylor.
Series 74 (2020)
With the nation in lockdown, four episodes were recorded remotely.
Series 75 (2021)
Series 75 saw the panel in the BBC Radio Theatre, but each show "virtually located" in a different part of the UK with an audience turning in via Zoom.
Series 76 (2021 - 2022)
Series 76 saw a return to recording with a live audience, with performances in Reading, Salford and Birmingham.
Series 77 (2022)
This series made its debut in I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue's 50th anniversary year, with recordings in Malvern and Nottingham, plus special recordings at the Royal Albert Hall.
Series 78 (2022)
Series 78 features performances in Croydon, Stockport and Newcastle.
Series 79 (2023)
Recordings for this series took place in Bath, Northampton and Ipswich.
Series 80 (2023)
This series visited Bournemouth, Leicester and Dorking.
Series 81 (2024)
The first series for 2024 was recorded in Oxford, Blackburn and Edinburgh.

The autumn series for 2024 will visit Exeter, Basingstoke and Sheffield,
