The code breakers are ordered to be vaccinated against yellow fever, but Charles refuses to be injected by an Australian. Archie is scared of needles and Gordon needs a note from his mum.

The Australian Dr Fisher takes a dislike to the boys and puts them in quarantine, with Minka as guard. Meanwhile the rest of the base prepares to celebrate the new year with German Whisky SS29... which actually turns out to be tank fluid.
