Outrageous comedy drama telling the true story of the chart-topping pop duo known as KLF who, in 1994, burned £1 million in cash on a remote Scottish Island, with only one journalist and their roadie-come-fixer, Gimpo, in attendance. Why? Why would they do that?

2. Rule 2

Tuesday 24^th September 2019

Bill, Jimmy and Gimpo set off for Sweden in order to persuade Abba to let them sample their music. They'll be OK with that. Won't they? Just in case they say no, they're taking all the records with them so that they can burn the vinyl before the legal deadline. Just in case.

Tuesday 1^st October 2019

Pop stardom is going well, the KLF are a music industry sensation with a string of hits. An inspired collaboration with country music legend Tammy Wynette takes them to new heights. But is that enough, asks Bill, where's the meaning? In the North Pole perhaps? Well that's the conclusion he reaches and so off they go. Really. All this happened.

At the height of their success the KLF can do no wrong. But they really want to. News of their forthcoming BRIT Award confirms their status as music industry establishment - exactly the thing they're fighting against - and so they go in search of an idea so outrageous, so disgusting, that they would succeed in becoming outcast from the industry. At the BRIT Awards ceremony of 1992 they try out their idea...

5. Rule 5

Tuesday 15^th October 2019

With the last gasp from the now dead sheep, the KLF leave the music industry. They now take their fight against the Illuminati to the art world, and the Turner Prize of 1994. They are about to have the most brilliant idea of all. Or the most stupid. You decide.

6. Rule 6

Tuesday 22^nd October 2019

Finally, having landed on the Isle of Jura, Bill, Jimmy, Gimpo, and one chosen witness check into the Jura hotel carrying two suitcases containing a million quid. They must pass the night before committing the act for which they have come. Burning one million pounds. Can they really go through with it?
