The Tertiary Phase, Episode 1 - Fit The Thirteenth

In which Arthur Dent finds himself stuck on prehistoric Earth, Ford Prefect comes out of a state of madness and Trillian teleports herself out of Zaphod Beeblebrox's life.

Further details

Arthur Dent has been stuck on prehistoric Earth for ages. He has not seen Ford Prefect in 4 years and has spent most of his time talking to trees and collecting things in a bag made out of a rabbit. Just as Arthur decides to go mad, Ford turns up with news that there is a disturbance in the space-time wash, allowing them to escape prehistoric Earth via a Chesterfield sofa.

Zaphod Beeblebrox and Trillian are on the Heart of Gold. Trillian is annoyed with the increasingly drunk Zaphod and so decides to teleport herself away.

Marvin meanwhile, is stuck in a swamp on Squornshellous Zeta, and having to walk in circles due to a poorly fitted 'artificial' robot leg.
