Giles compiles an audio diary on a trip to Beijing for his Duke of Edinburgh Award. He plans to find his Uncle Jeff and mend the Great Wall of China.

Giles goes off to China to help mend the Great Wall, sample the delights of genuine Chinese cuisine and wear a very big Mongolian hat. On the way, he wins the hundred metres, rugby tackles a bicycle and experiences a nasty incident with a loose chopstick. You can also hear the sound of a man accidently toppling 6000 terracotta statues and then eating a Mah Jongg tile.
