Room 101 to return to Radio 4 for another series
Room 101 is returning to Radio 4 for another series, with Paul Merton once again hosting.
The format - in which guests share their pet hates and worst nightmares - was revived in 2023. The third series of this latest incarnation will be recorded next month.
The producers confirm: "Room 101 returns to Radio 4 in its original one-to-one incarnation, with host Paul Merton interviewing a variety of guests from the world of comedy and entertainment to find out what they would banish to Room 101."
Episodes will be recorded on Monday 25th November at the Shaw Theatre in London. Free tickets are available via SRO Audiences
The Room 101 format started life on BBC Radio 5 in 1992 with Nick Hancock as host. It ran for four series, ending in 1994. Hancock transferred with the format to television the same year, with Paul Merton taking over in 1999. The show ended after 11 series in 2007, before being rebooted on television with Frank Skinner welcoming multiple guests per episode between 2012 and 2018.
