Series 1 (2007)

The first series saw Ramesh et al boldly complete a magazine part-work and cause a near riot selling beef swastikas.

Series 2 (2008)

In series two the Majhu family was rocked to its core by the appearance of a much-despised auntie and the shop turned into a temporary shrine to Michael Jackson.

Series 3 (2010)

Series 3 saw Sanjay finding a girlfriend and embracing the arts, while the very eco-balance of shop society is thrown into chaos after Ramesh allows Alok to install a slush machine.

Series 4 (2011)

In the fourth series Sanjay goes on work experience at the local paper, a rowdy party shop causes havoc and a new dance craze sweeps the town.

Series 5 (2012)

In Series 5 Ramesh thinks it is time to ponder retirement from the corner shop game but has to decide who will carry on his shop's legacy.

Series 6 (2016)

After a break of four years, the shop gang returned to record six more episodes. Stories include a choir competition becoming embroiled in a bribery scandal.

Series 8 (2018)

After a hugely successful 10 years on BBC network radio, hit comedy Fags, Mags & Bags returned.

Series 9 (2020)

Another series in the shop, as Ramesh and Malcolm prepare to get married.

Series 10 (2022)

The hit Radio 4 series Fags, Mags & Bags returns in a landmark tenth series with more shop based shenanigans and over the counter philosophy, courtesy of Ramesh Mahju and his trusty sidekick Dave.

Series 11 (2024)

This record-breaking 11th series sees the programme join the Top Ten longest running audio sitcoms of all time - and become the longest running TV or Radio sitcom ever to come out of Scotland.
