Further details
Fed up with everything on the radio originating from Cambridge, Ed decides to immerse himself in popular culture and retunes away from Radio Four. The new outlook on the world that Radios 1, 2 and 5 bring to Ed proves fortuitous when his daughter, Eli, manages to secure him an interview at her husband's university.
So it is that Ed finds himself 'Writer in residence' with all the benefits that this affords, including discussing the merits of the worst Lady Gaga wardrobe malfunction of the year.
