Dead Ringers - Series 1-7 Plus Specials

Dead Ringers - Series 1-7 Plus Specials

The first seven series of the award-winning BBC Radio 4 impressions show - plus two sparkling specials.

Wickedly funny and bitingly satirical, Dead Ringers has been lampooning politicians, celebrities and media pundits for over 20 years. In these seven series, first broadcast between 2000 and 2002, the team give us their peerless impressions of the personalities we love to laugh at: from Tony Blair and George W. Bush to Brian Sewell, Posh n' Becks and Kirsty Wark.

In their surreal alternate universe, Jack Nicholson joins the cast of Last Of The Summer Wine, Alan Bennett and Thora Hird reveal their dark sides over a pot of Earl Grey, and a desperate Doctor calls directory enquiries in search of his arch-enemy, The Master. Plus, Hamlet receives the classic sitcom treatment, Anne Robinson puts her family through its paces to find The Weakest Child - and there's horror at the Simon Bates Hotel...

Also included are the 2001 Election Special and The Archers Special, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the much-loved soap opera.

First released: Thursday 23rd February 2023

Not in the UK?

Fear not! Many items can still be ordered. Amazon in the UK delivers to many international territories, whilst their Australia, USA and Canada stores also supply many equivalent or imported items.

If you are in the North America, look out for US/Canadian flag icons on popular product listings for direct links.

If you order from a UK store, please note that the UK is in Region 2 and B, respectively, for DVDs and Blu-rays - check your player's compatibility, or look for multi-region products if you are located in another region.

If you are in Australia or New Zealand (DVD Region 4), note that almost all DVDs distributed in the UK by the BBC and 2entertain are encoded for both Region 2 and Region 4. The UK and Australasia are in the same Blu-ray region (B).
