The comedy about the county cricket medium-paced trundler with a plan to transform English cricket started here with this four-part series in 2001.

Dave Podmore's World Of Cricket (2002)

Rubbish county cricketer Dave Podmore continues to spout his views on the noble game. Pod makes a bid to run the opening ceremony of the 2003 Cricket World Cup - on the cheap, of course.

2009 Specials

There were a couple of one-off Dave Podmore specials on Radio 4 in 2009. The first, Dave Podmore's Ashes, concerned itself with whether Pod could be tempted to return to the Oval. The second, Strictly Dave Podmore, saw the cricketer take part in the TV dancing competition.

2010 Specials

There were two specials in 2010: an election special in which Dave Podmore becomes MP for Leicester Forest Services (East); and an autumn special in which Andy and Pod head to Australia.

2016 Specials
