Series 3, Episode 1 - A Man Of Action
A journalist comes to make a report on the Home Guard. This is soon overshadowed when a landmine cuts off Walmington-on-Sea's gas, water and railway lines. Captain Mainwaring decides the best thing to do is to put the town under martial law - he puts himself in charge naturally.
