Series 1, Episode 2 - School's Out

Whilst Billy is desperately trying to finish the kitchen before Helen arrives home, Patrick has a number of job interviews, including one at his, Billy and Joe's old school.

Further details

Billy is still working on the kitchen when he is interrupted by Helen arriving home. Meanwhile, Patrick pops into the pub between job interviews as he contemplates starting again in a new school. He is even more traumatised when one of his old teachers interviews him. Subsequently he struggles to show off his teaching abilities as he's hit with a wave of nostalgia. Both Maria and Moira are shocked to meet Helen; neither understand how Patrick has managed to marry someone as lovely as her!
Billy, Joe and Patrick all think back to their school days with varying levels of enthusiasm when Patrick invites their old English teacher, 'Mental' Martin, to the pub to try and get his job. Billy procrastinates over moving Moira's oven to avoid Mr Martin, and after too much 'lemonade', Patrick dreams about what he'd really like to say and do.
