An army rank, culinary containers, and some confectionery all lead to what pronoun?

Last week's cryptic question

Why are a fishy game, a fictional ruler, a Beatles song, and dodgy accounting all starters?

Alex & Maria Hughes, Gary Richmond, Debbie Haden and Wayne Mason worked out the 'starters' here.

See the answer

They are starters because these are the titles of the debut episodes of various comedy shows.

The fishy game is Sardines; which is the first episode of Inside No. 9.

The fictional ruler is Big Brother, the debut for Only Fools And Horses.

The Beatles song is Happiness is a Warm Gun, the first episode of The New Statesman

Dodgy accounting refers to the premiere of Black Books, Cooking the Books.

Turns out there are a few ways of answering this question though... other Beatles songs include The End (Red Dwarf) and I'm So Tired (Blessed). We also gave Debbie a point for the fictional ruler answer for Queen Of Oz episode There's a New Queen in Town.
